I bought Curamin for my husband because he was suffering with a sore back. He wouldn't take the supplement I take to control RA so I thought perhaps he would try this......but no.

Anyway, I decided that I wasn't going to let it go to waste. Although I had my RA pain under control, I though I would take this and see what happened.

My results were very interesting. I'm at that age where I had started getting "hot flashes" and after 3 days on Curamin they completely disappeared. WHAT ARE RELIEF!

I don't take the curamin all the time, but anytime I experience a hot flash I go back to taking Curamin, I swear by it to control hot flashes, haven't noticed other benefits but I don't usually take it long enough for it to do alot. (I have a strong aversion to taking pills).

I'm 50+ and have had RA for 6 yrs. I've been taking 1000 to 1500 mg Curcumin per day for 2 1/2 yrs. During that time I've rarely had a flare up, pain or fatigue and if I do, it's very minor. The only larger flare-ups I've had in the past two yrs have been 2 to 3 weeks after running out of Curcumin. In fact, I'm so good on Curcumin - I don't realize how bad RA can be until I run out! I've tried two brands - both equally good: Super Curcumin (with Bioperine)from www.agelesscures.com and Curcumin from www.tumeric-curcumin.com. Best value for $ is the 2nd listed at $33 for 200 500 mg tablets or $56.66 for 2 bottles (400 tabs) - if you just want curcumin without other ingredients such as bioperine or green tea extract. I'm an RA curcumin believer - whatever brand!

Hello aec,

Just to let you know that Market America is known for their quality products and they have a product called Curcumin Extreme. You can access it through www.marketamerica.com/headedtotop It is listed under Health and Nutrition and then general health. I also wanted to tell you about a product called OPC-3 that has changed my life. It attacks inflamation in the body and can be used to help arthritis, lupus, rheumatoid a. Also proven effective on asthma, allergies and even autism. If you do a search on the web, you will find testimonials supporting effectiveness. It is under Isotonix brand name on the same web site. I have 4 severly injured discs from a car accident and osteo. Took away so much pain and stiffness. Helped to cut down on pain killers. Check it out and if you have any questions, you can email me at Headedtotop@aol.com. Good luck to you!

I have been using Curcuminoid for approximately 3 months as an alternative antinflamitory for ibuprofen. This is the root of the turmeric plant and curcuminoid has been used as an antiflamitory in research at M.D.Anderson in Houston and Johns Hopkins.Curcuminoid has greatly reduced my reliance on ibuprofen since I only use ibuprofen now if the pain is great and the amount of ibuprofen to augment the curcuminoid far less.I can now take 1 tablet or capsule of ibuprofen vs 2-3 when my arthritis is really flaring. It's hard to find just the curcuminoid, but it is worth the search and it comes in tablet form or capsule. zflamend
from New Chapter has turmeric in it, but didn't help me as much as the pure curcuminoid tablets (1,000mg ach)2x daily with meals. Vibrant Health is the company producing this curcuminoid. I would really like to find the actual brand MD Anderson used.I have shared this information with my doctor.
