Two years ago I hurt my wrist playing sport. At first the doctors thought that I had broken my wrist, so with no actual signs of broken bones they decided to put my hand in a cast. Six weeks later I was still in a lot of pain so they put another cast on for six more weeks. Then with still no recovery they said that I had Compact Regional Pain Syndrome. The doctors got me to do lots of exercises but I was still in so much pain and by then my wrist had started to waste away. Now two years later they did an MRI scan on my wrist and found out that I actually have Rheumatoid Arthritis. Unfortunately it was too late for my wrist so I had to have surgery to get it fused and I can no longer use it. But I don't regret what had happened it has actually made me a stronger person. Other joints have been effect by the arthritis but nothing too serious. I just need to keep moving forward because I love my life and I plan to make the most of it.
