My name is Jordan. I was diagnosed when I was 8 years old. I have polyarticular arthritis. One morning I could not move my feet and hands so I stayed home from school. The next day I still couldn't move them and they hurt again. My mom took me to the doctor and that is when I found out I had JIA. I take several of medicines. Some of my pills are vitamins but some are important medicines that I need to take. When I do not feel good I take a nice, warm bath! For all you kids who have arthritis I know how you feel, but I do not let arthritis take me down! It can be especially hard in the winter when it is cold outside but I love winter anyway since my birthday is in the WINTER! I get tired of arthritis. Sometimes I have to catch up in school because I am either at the doctors or I am at home in bed with swelled up knees or feet, but my family supports me. I went to the arthritis walk for the first time this year with my family and a friend! I had so much FUN!!!
