Having arthritis has its ups and downs. One thing that I like about it is I get shots a week. Many think it is painful but I think they feel good. Another good thing is they have an awesome camp just for kids with juvenile arthritis. I love it there and the kids can really connect with what you are going thru. I also love the jingle bell run for arthritis. My school even made a team to support me. What I don't like is the pain. Sometimes my knee will burst into a sudden jet of pain, or it will get stiff and hard to move. I also don't like the way I run. Because of my arthritis, I run in a funny way which makes kids laugh and even tease me. When this happens my friends are there to help but they can't connect to what I'm going thru. If you are reading this and you do have arthritis I want you to know that you are not alone. I would also like to thank the Arthritis Foundation for all they have done to help me.
