Exercising with RA is an exercise in and of itself. There are days where
I'm feeling pretty decent and head to the YMCA only to leave there an hour
later with both my knees the size of softballs. Didn't hurt when I went
in, definitely hurt coming out. Unfortunately for me, there is no middle
ground yet-- I feel stiff/sore but ok one minute and then the next swollen
and in a huge amount of pain. I know even a little exercise is a positive
but it's a real tough mind game with myself to do it most days. We even
have a treadmill at home that I can prop a book up on to read while
walking--end result is still the same, swollen knees, hips and a back that
refuses to straighten without a strong pain killer. Life shouldn't be this
hard!

Is this a true and accurate description of what you can do having
Rheumatoid Arthritis? I have so many joints that are inflammed right
now....I don't think these exercises are possible. However, I will try
very, very hard everyday to be a success for anyone living with Rheumatoid
Arthritis.

I would like to know if there is a club of Arthritis patients here in the
Philippines and where it is located.
I am now bothered with my arthritis I cannot function the way I used to be.
I am an active person before I have this sickness.
