Happy Easter, everyone!
I enjoyed the Easter season this year. I’m not sure why, but I felt the meaning more in my heart and it seemed to be better than most. Again, I do not know why, but I liked it!
Over the past week, regardless of the situation, people have been wishing me a, "Happy Easter." Whether it’s the greeter at a store, the waitress at a restaurant, a stranger holding the door, seeing friends or in e-mails, I’ve received more Easter greetings than ever before. I myself have given the same greetings either initially or in return, and in doing so, they were not just words. I was saying, “Happy Easter” with a heartfelt tone of celebration and depth.
My holiday was a traditional Easter. We went to church on Friday and Sunday, snacked on chocolate bunnies all weekend, gathered with family and friends and had a ham feast with lots of desserts. There was laughter, reminiscing, storytelling and, best of all, new memories.
Did you celebrate Easter? If so, how? Did you have an egg hunt? What is your favorite Easter candy?

On Sunday, I went to Sunday School and church (with my daughter and husband), went to a late lunch at my daughter's friend's grandma's house, and then back to church. It was a wonderful day of spending time with family, new friends, and most importantly, my God and Jesus, who died on the cross and was resurrected after 3 days, so that I might live and have a relationship with my Heavenly Father.
